The Suverän has a comfortable and easy seating position, while the centrally located battery and mid-engine from Shimano Steps invite you to active cycling when your breath catches.
Planetary gear system with 7 speeds, foot brake (coaster brake) at the rear and a hydraulic hand brake at the front when the need requires. Centrally located display that gives you all the information you need, such as speed, distance, range, etc.

Comes complete with stainless steel basket, frame lock and lighting. Standalone charging of the battery requires adapter, see accessories.

The Suverän Step is the perfect e-bike for all the everyday chores and at the same time for those who want a little more than just an e-bike. With both motor and battery mounted centrally in the bike’s frame, you get a better weight distribution, which is more fun for a little more active cycling and gives more cycling feeling than hub-motorized electric bikes. In addition, you have 7 gears to choose from, to make it easier to find the perfect balance between pedaling and electric assistance. Since the battery is in the bike’s frame instead of on the luggage rack, it is also a very discreet electric bike, you can almost think that it is a regular analogue bugger.

The mid-motor at the bike’s pedals comes from Shimano and assists you quietly and efficiently up to 25 km/h. A lot of times you barely notice it until it stops helping. You control it with a centrally located display on the handlebar. In addition to controlling the assistance level, you can also turn the lights on/off, activate the walking function or access information such as speed/battery level/trip meter, etc. The display is one of the most valuable parts of an e-bike and is therefore removable so you can quickly and easily take it with you.

The engine is powered by a 418 Wh battery that lasts up to 70 km on a single charge. Fully charging again takes no more than 4-6 hours in a standard wall socket. The battery is also detachable from the frame, so you don’t have to worry about having to lug the whole bike to the nearest wall outlet (requires an adapter for the battery, though)! It is also possible to lock the battery, so that no meddlesome types can get into something. 2 keys included.

Brakes are made with a classic coaster brake at the rear or with an effective hydraulic disc brake at the front, which can be good to have as electric bikes weigh a little more and go a little faster than regular bikes.

In addition to a fine drive package, efficient brakes and good weight distribution, the Superb Step comes with footrests, bell, reflectors, front and rear lights, an approved frame lock, a luggage rack and a stylish stainless steel basket.

Especially in Sweden, Shimano Steps® has a strong foothold and with its nationwide network of Shimano-certified workshops, it is easy to get help with service and maintenance when the need arises.

All our e-bikes come 95% pre-assembled, which means you only need to put on the handlebars, basket and pedals before you can hit the bike paths. A manual is also included of course!

All our bikes have a one year warranty. The warranty covers all defects in function, materials and design of bicycles and accessories. The warranty does not apply to faults arising from improper use or parts used due to normal wear such as tires, hoses and chains.
